Treatment with Byakkokaninjintou for Children with Recurrent Parotitis

We evaluated the efficacy of Byakkokaninjintou in children with recurrent parotitis. Three children were given Byakkokaninjintou in the acute stage of recurrent parotitis. All children recovered in 3 to 4 days and continued to receive Byakkokaninjintou for three months. After administration, no children have parotitis. We think that Byakkokaninjintou is effective for the treatment of recurrent parotitis in children.
